Thunderstorm damaging winds downed multiple trees near the intersection of Dinan Church Road and Mississippi State Highway 583.

A stalled frontal boundary became the focus of a line of strong to severe thunderstorms across the area. This line was long-lived and produced dozens of reports of wind damage, flash flooding and even multiple house fires caused by lightning.
