Event narrative

April brought much above normal precipitation to most of the eastern half of South Central Texas. Some places had more than three times normal. All of this rain was sufficient to improve drought conditions to better than Severe (D2) Drought category in Bandera, Bexar, Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Kendall, Lavaca, and Medina Counties.
