The entire zone remained in Exceptional(D4) drought for the entire month. The Cloudcroft Cooperative Observer reported 1.57 inches of precipitation which was 0.72 inches above normal.

Wider weather episode

Another dry month for most of the the region except for some above normal precipitation totals in the higher elevations. No change was noted in drought categories from how March ended.
