High winds occurred in the Lander Foothills. The highest wind gust reported was 69 mph at the Lander airport.

Wider weather episode

A passing cold front mixed down strong mid level wind and brought high wind to portions of Fremont county, Wyoming. The strongest wind occurred at Red Canyon in South Pass with a maximum wind gust of 86 mph. Wind gusts over 60 mph were also recorded around Shoshoni and Lander, Wyoming.
