Event narrative

Light icing began overnight with light accumulations on elevated surfaces. Ice accumulated on trees and powerlines. A few power lines were blown down west of Parchman. A total of three tenths of an inch of ice accumulated on mainly elevated surfaces in the northern part of the county.
