Tree down across utility lines as well as scattered limb damage across Cornwall and Middlebury. Middlebury airport measured wind gust to 51 mph.

Wider weather episode

A weak trough moved through a marginally unstable airmass across NY/VT during the later afternoon of August 11th. Scattered thunderstorms developed along this trough axis across the Champlain Valley of NY into VT. One thunderstorm briefly intensified and brought isolated damaging winds to Cornwall and 51 mph wind gust at the Middlebury State Airport.
