Event narrative

Several trees were blown down between Hawk Point and Troy, some of which were blocking roadways. Also, an electric pole was snapped in half.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moved south through the region with a line of strong to severe storms. There were numerous reports of damaging winds with these storms, especially over eastern half of Missouri.
