Tropical storm conditions spread into Cameron Parish from Nicholas. Sustained winds peaked at 37 knots and the highest wind gust reached 43 knots.

Wider weather episode

Hurricane Nicholas moved into the central Texas coast early on the 14th. The remnants of the system moved into Louisiana the late on the 14th then drifted around the state causing flooding.
