After several months of below normal rainfall Val Verde, Edwards, Dimmit, and Maverick Counties moved into Severe (D2) Drought category. Val Verde, Maverick, and Dimmit Counties had outdoor burn bans in effect. Lake Amistad was 47.8 feet below normal.
