The High Rolls Mesonet site recorded a peak gust of 66 mph.
Wider weather episode
One upper level trough was moving along the Canadian Border with another one moving into the Baja region. Strong west to southwest flow was setup over the region which brought wind gusts up to 66 mph at High Rolls on the west slopes of the Sacramento Mountains.
