Strong and life threatening north to northeast winds developed across the San Gabriel Valley. Some peak wind gusts include: Loma Alta (gust 72 MPH), Eaton Canyon (gust 70 MPH), Pinecrest Drive (gust 68 MPH), Marshall Canyon (gust 68 MPH) and Rubio Crest Drive (gust 60 MPH).

Strong north to northeast winds were observed across the San Gabriel Valley. Some peak gusts include: Altadena (gust 69 MPH), San Dimas (gust 61 MPH) and Eaton Canyon (gust 60 MPH).

A weather spotter in the Monrovia area reported thunderstorm winds with estimated gusts of 50 MPH. The winds knocked down numerous tree branches.
