The entire zone remained in Extreme(D3) drought except the far north which remained in Severe(D2) drought. The Hillsboro Cooperative Observer which was 0.39 inches which was 0.25 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Another month where all sites reported below normal precipitation kept southwest New Mexico in Severe(D2) to Extreme(D3) drought.
