Snowfall amounts ranged from half an inch to around one inch across the county.

An upper low and associated arctic cold front brought precipitation to central North Carolina on the 28th and 29th. Precipitation began as rain on the afternoon of the 28th with a gradual mix and changeover to snow as the front moved through the area. Precipitation wrapped up early on the morning of the 29th. Most locations saw less than 1 inch of snowfall with this event, although there were some locations from Guilford to Randolph Co's that saw over 3 of snow.
