Event narrative

A very cold air mass settled into south Texas on the 20th and continued into the 21st. The cold temperatures caused the water temperatures to drop in the bays of the Middle Texas coast. This caused cold stunning of green sea turtles in the bays. Twelve cold stunned green sea turtles were rescued in Corpus Christi Bay and the Upper Laguna Madre on the 21st.
