Snowfall totals generally ranged between six inches and nine inches across the county. Snowfall total of 8.5 inches was reported at (3.5 NNW) Gum Spring. Snowfall total of 8.0 inches was reported at Locust Creek. Snowfall total of 6.5 inches was reported at Bumpass.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure tracking from the Southeast United States northeast off the North Carolina coast and out to sea produced snowfall totals between four inches and thirteen inches across much of central Virginia and the Virginia northern neck.
