The gauge on the Naselle River near Naselle rose above flood stage of 15.0 feet on the 6th, crested at 18.3 feet at 2000PST. This is above major flood stage of 17.0 feet. The river then dropped below flood stage on the 7th at 1130PST.

Wider weather episode

The second in a series of strong Pacific fronts brought another round of heavy rain and resulting flooding of mainstem rivers draining the coastal mountains and interior of southwest Washington. Coastal flooding also occurred at some coastal communities as a result of high astronomical tides combined with high river levels and high seas.
