Snowfall totals generally ranged between four inches and seven inches across the county. Snowfall total of 6.7 inches was reported at (2 SE) Norview. Snowfall total of 6.5 inches was reported at (1 E) Western Branch. Snowfall total of 6.0 inches was reported at (1 NW) Cradock. Snowfall total of 5.2 inches was reported at (1 SE) Ocean View. Snowfall total of 5.0 inches was reported at (1 N) Norview.

The wider storm

The combination of high pressure to the north funneling cold, Arctic air into the Mid Atlantic region, and low pressure tracking northeast off the Carolina coast produced snowfall totals between three inches and eight inches across much of southeast Virginia and the Virginia Eastern Shore.
