A large storm system impacted the region, with rain turning over to all snow on Wednesday February 2nd. The transition to snow took longest across Metro Detroit and points south, which resulted in only 2-4 inches of accumulation. The heaviest snow band set up along and north of the I-69/Flint vicinity, where up to a foot of snow was reported. Here are some of the higher totals received:
