Warm temperatures occurred across the region with widespread highs in the mid 80s to lower 90s. Fullerton ASOS hit 91 degrees and Anaheim it 94 degrees.

A ridge of high pressure over the western U.S. provided very warm and windy conditions. Areas near the coast reached into the 90s with records broken, along with wind gusts over 70 MPH in parts of the mountains.
