Impassable bridge on road PR-620 in Fatima, Vega Alta due to floodwaters from the Cibuco River.

Wider weather episode

An upper-level trough combined with local effects generated showers and isolated thunderstorms across the interior and western sections of Puerto Rico on the 1st of February. Some areas received 3 to 4 inches of rainfall, which resulted in flash flooding and river flooding.
