A 12-year-old male was swept away by a rip current at la Concha beach in San Juan. His body was recovered 2 days later nearby.

Wider weather episode

A small northeasterly swell and wind-driven seas caused life-threatening rip currents along the north and east-facing beaches of Puerto Rico during the second half o February.
