The wider storm
A strong low pressure system was passing along the Canadian border and the Upper Midwest during the day Friday, February 11th. By the afternoon, the associated cold front was nearing the state, and quickly lowering heights aloft led to an increase in SW winds. Some of these winds became gusty, and ended up causing some damage to a house near West Liberty, KY.
