Many areas saw temperatures lower near the freezing mark.

A potent trough of low pressure from the Pacific brought cold weather across the region. Our region also saw some lower elevation snowfall with higher elevations receiving over one foot of snow. Record cold temperatures and highway closures were the main impacts as this system swept through the region from February 21st to 23rd.
