SNOW SQUALL. Snow squalls impacted Elk County with 1/2 mile or less visibility and wind gusts to 35 mph.

Snow squalls developed during the day on March 28, 2022 as unseasonably cold air aloft moved over central Pennsylvania. Surface temperatures were anomalously cold as well, with many locations across central Pennsylvania experiencing record cold high temperatures. Snow squalls developed quickly during the morning hours and continued through the afternoon.
