Trees were blown down in Rolling Fork.

Wider weather episode

Showers and storms developed ahead of a cold front. Some storms became severe with damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall. Winds were strong ahead of the storms and resulted in downed trees across the region. National Weather Service official observing sites recorded wind gusts of 50 to 56 mph through the day, and a site in Bolivar County recorded a wind gust of 58mph. Meridian Key Field recorded a wind gust of 60mph.
