Event narrative

An ice jam on Penns Creek led to the rescue of several people Friday morning in the Millmont area of Union County. No injuries were reported after two people and a dog were rescued from a house surrounded by water of Penns Creek.

According to the Mifflinburg Hose Company Facebook page, crews were called to the 900 block of Canada Drive in Lewis Township, Union County just after 5:30 a.m. Friday.
