Active weather persisted for most of this period, as several upper level disturbances moved across the region. This setup resulted in widespread heavy snow across all of the higher terrain, as well as lighter accumulations in lower-lying areas. This activity was also accompanied by a massive influx of arctic air, dropping temperatures across the region during this time.
