Here are some peak wind gusts reported across and near the Eastern Mogollon Rim zone: the Heber Mogollon Airpark 60 MPH at 435 AM MST, Show Low Airport 59 MPH at 955 AM, and the ADOT sensor at the intersection of Highways 277 and 377 61 MPH 1223 PM.

Wider weather episode

A deepening cold upper low across the Pacific Northwest brought strong westerly gradients over Arizona with persistent southwest winds. The strongest winds were observed over the Eastern Mogollon Rim, White Mountains, and the Little Colorado River Valley in Navajo and Apache counties.
