Jeff Davis county's 911 Call center reported a tree fell down across Old Graham road Thursday morning ahead of storms.

A tight pressure gradient was over southeast Georgia and northeast Florida early Thursday morning through afternoon due to high pressure to the east and an approaching squall line to the west. A low level jet ahead of the front also moved across inland southeast Georgia Thursday morning into early afternoon. The combination of a tight gradient and a low level jet produced gusty winds ahead of the squall line. A Wind Advisory was in effect for all of southeast Georgia and northeast Florida. A tree fell across a road in Jeff Davis county. Wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph were observed across the area through the day ahead of the squall line.
