Peak wind gusts included 69 mph, 8 miles south of Holyoke and 60 mph at Holyoke Municipal Airport.

Very strong winds developed across eastern Elbert, northern Lincoln, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips and Washington counties. Peak wind gusts up to 70 mph were observed. A large tree was knocked down at Columbine Park in Sterling.
