Rainfall totals generally ranging from 2.50 to 3.50 inches...with local totals up to around 4.00 inches...led to minor urban and small stream flooding. Water was reported on portions of Route 1A in Machias and Route 191 in Lubec. Standing water occurred in poor drainage areas along with elevated stream levels.

Strong low pressure tracked north across New England and the Saint Lawrence River Valley during the 19th drawing an occluded front across the region. Abundant moisture was drawn north in advance of the front which supported heavy rains across portions of Downeast Maine. Total rainfall across Washington county generally ranged from 2.50 to 3.50 inches...with local totals up to around 4.00 inches. Across Hancock county...totals generally ranged from around 1.50 inches to 3.00 inches with locally greater totals. Minor urban and small stream flooding occurred across portions of Washington county with water covering some roads along with overflowing culverts. Water was reported on portions of Route 1A in Machias and Route 191 in Lubec. Standing water was reported in poor drainage areas along with elevated stream levels.
