A late-season winter storm impacted Northeastern Pennsylvania in mid-April. Snow-to-liquid ratios were low resulting in heavy snowfall. Snowfall totals exceeded a foot in some locations. The heavy snow brought down trees and powerlines resulting in widespread power outages.
