A tornado touched down along the southern end of Toledo Bend Reservoir, damaging ten homes/camps roofs, several boat docks, barns, and snapped numerous pine trees. Max estimated winds of the tornado was 110 mph.
Wider weather episode
A vigorous short wave and associated cold front moved into the region spawning a round of thunderstorms. One tornado occurred along with isolated severe weather.
