A mid level disturbance moved into a moderately unstable airmass across southern Ontario/southern Quebec and northern NY during the late afternoon/early evening of May 21st. Scattered thunderstorms in southern Ontario/Quebec intensified as they moved along the international border and began to develop southward. Isolated hail and strong winds were reported along the international border.
