Lake County Emergency Management passed along a report of a man that was slightly injured after lightning struck a nearby fishing pole. The incident occurred along the 16500 block of Wilson Parrish Road in Umatilla at approximately 1910LST. The disoriented man was transported to a local hospital in Ocala, and was released later that day.
