This tornado was brief and remained over private timber company property with no observed damage. A tornado was reported at Tull, blowing trees down.
Wider weather episode
A cold front brought a broken line of thunderstorms to the state during the afternoon and evening hours of April 30th. One storm tracked from southwest White County east southeastward toward the Mississippi River. It produced hail and even a brief tornado near Des Arc (Prairie County) just before 6 PM CST. A separate storm produced hail briefly along with a weak tornado near Tull (Grant County).
