Mesonet station ginm8 Ginger RAWS measured a wind gust of 71 mph. This was the only gust that met criteria this day and was not warned.

Wider weather episode

A shortwave and associated surface low brought showers and snow showers to SW MT, while widespread snow occurred over North-central MT. A lone wind gust meeting criteria occurred in Broadwater County on April 16. Snow amounts/timing generally stayed under criteria, but one report did meet winter storm warning criteria.
