Pea and quarter sized hail reported on the east bank of Jackson Lake.

A low pressure system moved across north central AL with a warm front situated across central Georgia, supporting development of diurnally driven thunderstorms during the afternoon of March 16th. With modest CAPE values in combination with steep low and mid level lapse rates, there were multiple reports of hail ranging from quarter to golf ball size across portions of central Georgia.
