Several trees were blown down.

Wider weather episode

Numerous supercell thunderstorms tracked northeast across East Tennessee, starting in the late morning hours and continuing into the evening. Many of the storms produced damaging wind gusts and large hail, mainly in central and northern portions of the Tennessee Valley. Although several storms exhibited rotation signatures on radar, no tornadoes were confirmed.
