Several rounds of thunderstorms brought large hail and some damaging wind gusts to portions of northeast Tennessee, starting in the late evening hours of May 18 and continuing through the afternoon of May 19. Most of the reports were of large hail, with the largest being the size of a hen egg.

Began near Bacchus (36.5400, -83.6100).
