Snow totals up to 4 inches fell across De Kalb County. CoCoRaHS station Dowelltown 5.8 NE measured 3.5 inches of snow, and CoCoRaHS station Smithville 4.9 WSW measured 3.0 inches of snow. The COOP observer in Smithville measured 4.0 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A late season snow event affected all of Middle Tennessee from the evening hours on March 11 into the morning hours on March 12. Snow totals ranged from 1 to 7 inches across the area, with the highest amounts on the Cumberland Plateau.
