High westerly winds occurred across the San Gorgonio Pass on April 11th and 12th. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph were common across the area, with some localized higher gusts. The Whitewater SCE and RAWS sites recorded peak wind gusts of 71 mph during the afternoon and evening hours on the 11th.
