A weak frontal boundary tracked through the area along with a weak upper level disturbance combined with daytime heating to produce strong thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening hours on Friday (5/13). The strongest storms produced hail up to nickel size across portions of north-central and east-central Wisconsin.
