Widespread 50 to 65 mph wind gusts were recorded following a strong cold frontal passage. The peak gusts were 64 mph at Dead Man Canyon and the base of Howe Peak. Howe recorded 54 mph and Arco 51 mph.

Wider weather episode

Strong cold front related wind storm. Several wind gusts in the 50 to 75 mph range on April 4th into April 5th with damage reported and road closures.
