Extreme wind gusts in the 50 to 65 mph range were frequent after a strong cold frontal passage. The ITD site at Pine Creek Pass recorded 62 mph and Pine Creek RAWS recorded 52 mph.

Wider weather episode

Strong cold front related wind storm. Several wind gusts in the 50 to 75 mph range on April 4th into April 5th with damage reported and road closures.
