Peak wind gusts included 63 mph, 8 miles south of Holyoke, and 60 mph in Holyoke.

Another period of strong winds occurred in the afternoon and evening which impacted portion of the urban corridor and northeast plains of Colorado. Some of the strongest gusts included: 90 mph at the mouth Coal Creek Canyon; 86 mph, 6 miles northeast of Otis; 74 mph at Buckley AFB, with 71 mph at Akron-Colorado Regional Airport and near Sterling.
