A family of narrow waterspouts was observed well northwest of Key West Harbor. Spray rings were not visible due to the large distance from shore.

Wider weather episode

Increasing southeasterly lower tropospheric winds produced several leeward cloud streets extending from the Lower Florida Keys in the nearshore Gulf of Mexico waters. Several waterspouts resulted.
