The DW7371 CWOP on Lopez Island in San Juan County reported sustained wind of 42 mph with a gust of 60 mph around midnight on April 4th.

An unusually strong storm system brought a prolonged period of strong winds to Western Washington in early April. This same storm system also led to high surf conditions near the Coast and heavy snow in the Cascades.
