The CW3375 CWOP station at Ferndale in Whatcom County reported a wind gust of 59 mph around 1am on April 4th.
Around 0100L on April 4th, the KBLI ASOS near Bellingham in Whatcom County reported sustained wind around 41 mph with a gust to 61 mph.
Wider weather episode
An unusually strong storm system brought a prolonged period of strong winds to Western Washington in early April. This same storm system also led to high surf conditions near the Coast and heavy snow in the Cascades.
