Event narrative
Hilda town council member provided a report and photos, via social media, of multiple downed trees and large limbs in the town of Hilda. Also, parts of a metal roof were blown off. The damage extended from Broughton Ave to along Railroad Ave. Time estimated.

Diurnal heating, along with a weak upper shortwave moving south over the region on the eastern periphery of an upper ridge, and convergence along surface boundaries, led to a cluster of thunderstorms that shifted south over the central Midlands of SC, some of which reached severe limits.
